Lakeside Boathouse
The award winning Lakeside Boathouse offers Dragon Boats along with the opportunity to hire a Canoe, Kayak, Raft or even a SUP. All of these are available for hire daily (weather permitting) and although booking is not essential it is recommended. The Boathouse, named Winner 2023 Best Boat & Canoe Hire Attraction in Wales by SME News.
No.1 Ice-cream Parlour in Powys, also offers an award winning Welsh Ice-cream, hot & cold drinks, selection of confectionery and local & Welsh gifts. We run Bushcraft, Canoeing & Cycling Courses, Fishing Lessons, Fishing Tackle & Rod Hire and Bike Hire. We also host weekly sports clubs, Junior Fishing Club every Wednesday from 5pm till 6.45pm, the Paddle Sport Club every Tuesday & Thursday evening from 5.30pm till 7.30pm & The Model Boat club every Sunday morning from 10.30am till 1pm.
Children can happily play in our new sandpit, while parents watch over them, whilst enjoying a lovely cuppa!
